Hauck South Africa, Extended Warranty

2 Year Limited Extended Warranty for hauck.co.za  

Thank you for your interest in the products and services of hauck.co.za. This limited warranty applies to new physical Hauck Group goods purchased in South Africa (the "Product") and registered as below for the extended warranty.

What does this limited warranty cover?

The standard and extended limited warranty cover any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the original warranty and extended warranty period, respectively. During the warranty period, hauck.co.za  will repair or replace, at no charge, Products or parts of the Product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

What does this limited warranty not cover?

This Limited warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:

  • conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship

What will we do to correct problems?

hauck.co.za will either repair or replace the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts at hauck.co.za’s discretion.

How long is the warranty?

The standard warranty period for Products purchased in South Africa is 1 year from the date of purchase. A replacement Product or part under warranty assumes the remaining warranty of the original Product or 6 months from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer. The extended warranty increases the standard warranty period from 1 year to 2 years from the date of original purchase.

What do you have to do to qualify for the extended warranty?

You must have registered your product within 30 days of original purchase with hauck.co.za by either using the online form hauck.co.za or via email (info@hauck.co.za), and either uploading or attaching an image of your Product purchase invoice, including your name and contact details. Please note that by registering for the extended warranty service, you consent to be added to our marketing database.

What should you do if you would like to make a claim?

Please contact hauck.co.za on info@hauck.co.za, with your name, product details and the problem experienced, hauck.co.za will then determine if the product is still within the standard warranty period or if the extended warranty period applies (and had been correctly registered for) and then will revert with the most appropriate solution for you.
